Samantha Mohr

Entering her first pageant at the recommendation by an acquaintance of UGA students, Mohr won the Miss Columbus 1985 title. Mohr then was eligible to be a part of The Miss Georgia pageant, which took place June 1985. Mohr was awarded her title as Miss Georgia 1985 on the 22nd June, 1985. The winner earned more than $3,500 in scholarship funds and various prizes at the state pageant. Her activities as Miss Georgia included public appearances at locations all over Georgia. Mohr took part as Miss Georgia at Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City (New Jersey) on September 15, 1985. With computer models that accurately predicated that Susan Akin would be named Miss America, Mohr's odds were set at 22 to one. Mohr didn't make The Top 10 list for National crown. Mohr's reign as Miss Georgia lasted until she was crowned as her successor, Marlesa Ball, Miss Georgia 1986 on June 28 June, 1986. Samantha Samantha Samantha
